My name is Leanne Watkins, and I have been living in the Central Florida area for 15 years now. I have been living specifically in Brevard County for the past 11 years. I am an agent for Pytha Realty Corp specializing in Merritt Island FL Real Estate and Melbourne FL Real Estate as well as properties all along the Space Coast.

Brevard County is a wonderful area to live and work. The Kennedy Space Center is located here, and it is spectacular to have a "front row seat" from just about anywhere in the county when the shuttles launch. Port Canaveral is located here as well, where you can hop on a cruise ship and take a vacation! You can spend your days lounging on the many county beaches, or take a day trip into Orlando to the theme parks.

Brevard County has many different activities, as much of the county is located on the water. It is wonderful for boaters,fisherman, and those who love water sports.

There are always lots of fun and exciting events planned here on the Space Coast! The Space Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled for launch November 12, 2009.  The 24th Annual National Kidney Foundation Charity Surfing Festival will take place September 4-7, 2009.  The Cocoa Beach Air Show is October 3-4, 2009.
